The story of Sight Care is a journey of perseverance, determination, and a dream. As a Toronto immigrant, Judy aspired to have a business of her own to help others and find purpose. After obtaining a business degree, she worked hard at a bank to accumulate capital. She was able to climb the ranks to become a successful Vice President. As a Vice President, she led Retail Banking, Capital Markets, and several Commercial Banking teams. Although she had a successful career, she put her dream on hold as a single mom to raise her two children.
But as many entrepreneurs have shown, it’s never too late to pursue your dreams. Judy’s daughter Samantha expressed her desire to become an optometrist at 12. When Samantha was accepted into Optometry school, Judy saw an opportunity for her to combine their skills and passions to create Sight Care. With Samantha providing exceptional internal eye health care and Judy offering guidance to people looking to choose the best external eyewear to boost their image and self-confidence, the pair was unstoppable.
